To match with Arwen, I have drawn Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings, played by Viggo Mortensen. I also made the drawing in 2005.
Even this drawing I made two versions of, the first one looked more like Jesus, so I had to do one more.
I began to draw portraits in 2005 and there were many drawings I failed with in the beginning. To see better my progress, I often drew the same drawing twice.
Even in this drawing I used a 0,7 mm pencil.
This drawing I made in 2005 and even this drawing I made two versions of. The first one looked more like Shannen Doherty and this one looks more like Liv Tyler as Arwen in The Lord of the Rings. I only used a 0,7 mm pencil.
To continue with twins, I have drawn the twins, Bill and Tom Kaulitz.
These portraits I made in 2007, and I remember it took forever for me to be done with the drawings, because of all the details.
I always draw everything that is shown in a picture, every detail.
I never embellish or make something easier for me.
I used my usual 0.7 mm pencil, and also various other pencils.
(An extra note is unfortunately that the drawing of Bill + one other, which I will post later, was stolen by a girl on deviantART a few years ago. She had downloaded them and posted them on her page and wrote how and when she made them, terrible!)
This drawing I can not say that I’m very happy with, looks more like the swedish singer, Carola.
I always have a picture beside me that I draw after and this time I chose a picture that was as big as a postage stamp.
(NOTE: I never set a paper on top of a picture and draw lines after that),
I wanted to see if I could enlarge to a4. I consider this drawing more as a challenge, an exercise to enlarge. I am very bad when it comes to reduce and enlarge a drawing.
I made this drawing in 2007, and I only used a 0,7 mm pencil.
